Those of you who regularly read my posts know that I’m in love with marketing of luxury products.

I had the opportunity this summer to visit the Lalique museum which just opened its doors in Eastern France and which serves as a showcase for the brand and as a sales point too. For those of you who are not familiar with the brand, Lalique is a glass maker who is just as famous as other glass makers like Daum and Baccarat.

There’s one thing I can guarantee you. At the end of the visit you just want to purchase everything from the store.

The products themselves and the way they are exhibited in a half light dramatic atmosphere just makes you feel how unique those products are. One thing that the guys at Lalique did very well was arranging similar products in line and playing (when it was possible) with color variations. When displayed on a contrasting background it just gives a stunning result.

My take:

Create dramatic effects when you display your products: group them by family, play on the color variations and use a contrasting (black if possible) background.
